Title:                      Data Analyst

Duration:             6 month contract (minimum)

Location:              Dallas, TX

 

Description

-A data analyst with 3-5+ years of experience to perform analytic exercises, from gathering required data, analyzing that data, implementing solutions, and measuring their success within the default servicing area of Chase Mortgage Operations.

-Looking for dynamic, energetic, inquisitive people, who have a desire to apply their analytical discipline to real-world business problems.

-Identify areas for data quality improvement and help resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.

-Analysis / interpretation of data /analysis leading to identification of root causes, with a keen sense of identifying and solving existing operational challenges.

-Interface with operations and support groups in support of the role.

 

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.

-Prior Mortgage Analysis experience is beneficial, with a focus on Default Liquidations.

-Programming/Data experience Required: Oracle PL/SQL Coding using TOAD or SQL Plus

-Extremely proficient in Microsoft products at an advanced level: Excel, PowerPoint

-Experience in working with complex data architectures and infrastructures.

-Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to think through all aspects of problems and generate execution plan.

-Good working knowledge of metrics and scorecards.

-Analyze and validate source and target data sources for accuracy.

-Ability to create reports, present them to business partners, and facilitate issue resolution.

-Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with Business Partners and internal team members, both in technical and non-technical subject areas.

-Proven ability to quickly adjust priorities based on multiple demands, changing priorities, and rapid operational changes.
