Job Title : SAP ABAP Techno-functional Consultant
Duration : 6 Months
Location : Auburn Hills, MI
Responsibilities:
• assess the current configuration, customization, and batch processing within vwgoa's sap vehicle finance solution.
• analyze the application's ability to receive and process data in real-time.
• identify system changes necessary to support real-time integration.
• advise vwgoa as to the sequence of projects necessary to achieve the stated vision.
• identify other associated process improvements that can be achieved through the initiative.
• discuss other imposed limitations that could hinder the ability for records processing to grow further over time.
• work with the sap ams team to understand the current sap vehicle finance environment.
• assist with procuring the necessary resources to perform necessary enhancement, should the decision be made to move forward with real time integration.
• document key findings as analysis is conducted.
skills and knowledge:
• functional and technical knowledge of sap r/3 version 4.6c and ecc 6.0.
• specific detailed knowledge of sap's automotive industry solution.
• ability to analyze abap code to understand current batch processing activities.
• ability to provide recommendations and an associated action plan to implement recommendations.
• strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
• strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
• ability to work independently while interacting with resources from other vwgoa locations.
experience:
• a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required
• more than seven years of experience implementing, analyzing and configuring sap systems, including at least three years' experience with sap's automotive industry solution.
• at least three years' experience defining project roadmaps to enhance an existing sap applications.
