Position: Strong PLSQL developer with java

Location: Jersey city, NJ

Term: Long term Contract

 

Job Requirements:

·         Looking for someone who can do PL SQL code reviews (DB2 nice to have but Oracle guy would also be fine).

·         Will also be responsible for setting up the processes, guidelines and best practices for our App Arch DB code review team.

·         should have experience/knowledge in core Java 5, Web services (nice to have),

·         Awareness of the WSDL, design patterns, basic architectural concepts.

·         Should be able to work on both PL SQL and Java API development.

·         Good in general DB concepts, ANSI standard syntaxes.

·         Hands on Experience in DB2/Oracle code base development (DCL, DML, DDL), Exception handling, Transaction management, debugging and testing.

·         Very good in setting up general PL SQL coding guidelines, best practices and enforcements for dev teams.

·         Very good in coming up with best review processes.

·         Nice to have experience in performance improvements in queries and DB Objects like procedure, functions, cursors (appropriate constraints, Joins, Indexes, hints etc)

·         Nice to have experience in Oracle/DB2 database administration, Users, Objects permissions, grants.

·         Nice to have experience in Entity designs, ETL, transaction handling etc.
