BI Reporting Engineer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration : 6+ Months

 

Job Description:

You will have responsibility for design and implementation of Reports/Dashboards using BI tool – Tableau with highest quality. The reports and dashboard will be served from a web portal. The responsibility includes web development and ETL. This individual will be interfacing with Product Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Operations, and other development teams.

 

Requirements:

·         At least 8-10 years of experience in software development, preferably in RDBMS, BI tools and ETL.

·         Demonstrated experience in BI tools – specifically Tableau. Designed and implemented reports and dashboards. Experience with other BI tools is a plus.

·         Excellent understanding of database design and SQL – MySQL and Oracle.

·         Experience in OLAP cubes is a plus.

·         Web development experience on Java stack preferred.

·         Experience in Google Visualization is preferred.

·         Experience with the following products and technologies: Linux, Jetty, Web Services, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScritps.

·         Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

·         Excellent software development practice, including sprint models.

·         Team player, flexible, adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

POSITION : PEOPLESOFT FINANCE

Duration : 3+ months

Houston, TX

 

A candidate at senior manager level who have done –

·         Atleast who have led 4 full life cycle Peoplesoft implementation in the US and global.

·         Strong General Ledger solution architecting capability Strong General Ledger/finance background and integration with other Peoplesoft modules.

·         Led the implementation team through the entire project life cycle.

·         Led the client team in designing the solution.

·         Experience in migrating from legacy to Peoplesoft GL. AS400 knowledge a plus

 

For the Below positions required Visa Copies along with Submission.

 

POSITION     : .NET C# DEVELOPER

Location        :  Jersey City, NJ                  

Type              :  Long Term Contract or Fulltime

 

Start Date    : Immediate  ; BG & employment verification will be initiated if selected

 

Job Description:

MS .Net C# Developer

 

·         Project Requirements:

1.      NHibernate

2.      jQuery

3.      AJAX

4.      MVP/MVC3 pattern

5.      CSS

·         Basic Requirements:

1.      Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010

2.      Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0

3.      Common Language Runtime

4.      ADO.NET

5.      ASP.NET

6.      LINQ

7.      Dependency Injection (Spring.Net, Microsoft Unity, and etc.)

8.      Unit Testing:

§  MSTest, NUnit

§  Mocking Framework (i.e.: MOQ)

9.      Experience with Peer reviews

10.  Familiarity Agile [Scrum and XP Engineering Practices]

11.  Familiarity with Continuous Integration

12.  Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD)

13.  Good communication skills

14.  Ability to collaborate in a team

15.  Someone who takes initiative instead of waiting for work to be assigned.

16.  Someone who participates in discussions and who isn't afraid to have and state opinions.

·         Nice to have:

1.      Familiarity with the Property and Casualty Industry is a plus

POSITION : AB INITIO DEVELOPER

Location:  Herndon, VA              

Duration: 6 months

 

Description:

·         Minimum of 5 to 6 years' experience in BI and 2 years in Abinitio

·         Should have good knowledge in data warehousing concepts

·         Should have good experience in Abinitio in couple of projects

·         Should have experience on at least 1 end to end ETL development project

·         Should have good communication skills

 

NOTE:
