Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst (Third Party Logistics)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Best Rate: $45/hr all inc on C2C

Description/Responsibilities:

Business Analyst must have 3PL (Third Party Logistics) experience and familiarity with Cargo Wise software. (Warehouse Management Software)
Directs, defines, documents and carries out small to medium projects actively participating in all phases.
Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.
Delivers realistic project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plans, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate.
Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
Experience working with a structured methodology such as RUP or "agile" software development process
Manages the investigation of operational requirements organizational designs, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.
Manages the analysis of business processes; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches.
Contributes to evaluating the factors which must be addressed in the change program.
Helps establish requirements for the implementation of changes in the departmental business process.
Uses appropriate tools, including strong use cases, process models, non functional requirements, user interface wireframes, UML activity diagrams, state diagrams, to contribute to the development of systems architectures in specific business or functional areas that are maintainable and supportable.
Designs and manages others to execute tests of new/updated processes.
Specifies test environment for whole life-cycle testing.
Has responsibility for the successful delivery of small to medium-scale technology projects.
May create and/or assist in training for internal users within the company.
Employees are accountable to management and each other to ensure every task is done safely in accordance with Management Systems or business unit procedures with the objective of continuously improving our processes.

Required Experience:

7+ years business analysis and project management experience. 
Able to conceptualize and think creatively. 
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 
Persuasive, patient manner and team leadership capabilities. 
Previous experience eliciting requirements through use cases is required. 
Must possess skill sets and demonstrated, proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. 
Requires the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
