US IT HOTLIST Requirement for Manual Tester - 2 positions

Location: Terrytown, NY

Primary skills  - Manual Testing

Rate: $40/hr

1. Experience testing applications using manual test methodologies.
2. Good understanding of Quality Assurance process and methodologies
3. Strong technical and testing skills. Knowledge of various software testing strategies and approaches
4. Analyzing and Reviewing functional and technical documentation to determine test requirements and test conditions

5. Identify, create and execute functional and regression test cases for validating requirements and user acceptance criteria

6. Peer reviews of testing documentation
7. Investigating test failures, creating defect reports and verifying fixes are resolved in within a timely manner
8. Coordinating with different teams as needed for defect notification, tracking, and resolution
9. Working collaboratively with QA team members and other departments to identify and resolve issues, implement test strategies and respond to Quality Assurance questions
10. Training and Communicating test processes and procedures
11. Answering project business process team member’s questions
12. Mapping test cases to requirement and process documents
13. Training and Communicating with off-shore testing teams as needed
14. Leading the generation of Quality Assurance status reports and update communications
15. Working knowledge of quality tools
16. Performs defect logging, resolution, quality checks, and reporting processes and helps project teams efficiently resolve defects and retest satisfactorily
