US IT HOTLIST Project Manager ------------ Richmond, VA

Position:              Project Manager

Location:             Richmond, VA

Duration:             6 months

 

Must have Cerner SurgiNet

 

Background:

·         VCUHS is a large, academic medical center located in Richmond VA

·         Our EMR is Cerner Millennium

·         We have around 40 OR suites at 2 locations

·         Our current OR System is GE ORMIS and our Anesthesiology system is INNOVIAN

·         Weare in the middle of a project to implement SurgiNet into our Cerner environment - the initial PM was forced to drop off of the project due to health reasons.

·         The project includes interfaces with Lawson for Materials and GE IDX for patient registration
       

CONSULTANT

·         Experienced Project Manager who has implemented SurgiNet at multiple sites

·         Person hired will be expected to work on site

·         Engagement estimated to be at least 6 months - November through April  

·         Initial deliverables will be a review and resetting of the project plan and budget

·         Contractor is needed to start ASAP after selection and procurement
