Job Title:    Oracle DBA  with Healthcare Exp (2)
Location:    Quincy, MA
Durations:   6+ Months Contract
 
Description:
 
 7 to 10 years' experience as a DBA managing Oracle and SQL Server database

Oracle or Windows DBA experience required with backup and recovery methods. 

 Responsible for database performance monitoring and tuning activities

Responsible for database space management and planning

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing database upgrades and patches (Oracle & SQL Server)

Responsible for supporting Development/Implementation/Testing environments

Responsible for supporting Production environments 

 Implementation and support of industry standard and security and audit procedures 

 Identifies, Maintains & controls database servers configuration Items across oracle & sqlserver databases

Working with development teams closely and provide assistance to developers as needed.

May be required to provide on-call support during the peak load of project delivery

Knowledge of quality processes

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with developers and management

Prior Healthcare experience

Prior Federal/State experience is a plus
