Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer
Location: McLean, VA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
 
Job Description for the SSIS/ETL/BI developer:
Provide support in all aspects of the design, mapping, development, testing, and documentation of data movement for an Enterprise Data Repository housing Identity and Access Management information from infrastructure platforms and corporate applications.
Apply broad technical knowledge and skills to implement ETL solution (utilizing Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite) to process heterogeneous text files, transform data into a format required by the business, and load such data into SQL Server 2008.
Participate in design, analysis, and implementation of ETL solution and provide recommendations based on prior experience.
Develop and implement high-performing stored procedures for querying SQL Server 2008.
As needed, ability to create customized SSIS tasks and components to extend out-of-box capabilities.
Have experience and knowledge of full software lifecycle development as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.

Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.
Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite (specifically SSIS and SSRS).
Experience working with complex relational data models.
Minimum of 5 years of programming experience in C# (preferable) or Visual Basic knowledge.
Experience with Information Security and security development practices is a plus.
Any certification in BIDS or SQL Server is a plus. -Knowledge of Rational Clear Case, Clear quest, BMC Bladelogic is a plus..
