SENIOR SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER/ARCHITECT

looking for a SharePoint Administrator/Architect to assist with implementing and supporting their Enterprise Content Management Strategy/Initiative. This position would serve on site at our client in Rockville, MD,  as the technical liaison between the Technology Strategy & Innovation (TSI) group implementing the strategy and the Application Support Management (ASM) groups who is supporting the strategy.

·         Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, access, and backup for enterprise wide MS SharePoint systems. 

·         Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications.

·         Troubleshoot system issues, resolve or recommend solutions.

·         Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures.  Install patches and updates as needed. 

·         Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades.

·         Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot operating systems.

 

Required skills:

 

·         Strong experience with SharePoint 2007 & 2010 as well as SQL Server 2012 Heterogeneous environments.  Must be a SME on SharePoint in terms of configuration and logical design within SharePoint 2010.

·         Must possess solid knowledge of operating systems and networking hardware and software.  

·         6+ years of experience functioning in a Systems Administrator capacity is required.

·         .net (light) and java (light) and SharePoint (Expert) ,– content management (logical design, web application/site collection/sub site, content types, and term management)

·         Experience with ECM tool/add-on implementations in SharePoint 2010; someone that knows how support can be done while rolling out a strategic plan

·         CSS/HTML 5.0 web technologies

·         CMIS 1.0 or content integration experience

·         Cloud capabilities - preferably Office 365 and box.net highly desired

·         Enterprise Workflow Program Initiatives.

·         Fast search (FAST)  configuration, implementation & support

·         Gimmalsoft and BA Analytics configuration, implementation, and support

·         Records Center configuration, implementation, and support

·         Taxonomy design and implementation
