Portland, OR
12 months Contract
Position Requirements:
10+ years experience – Computer Technology or related field
Undergraduate degree - Computer Technology or related field
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) preferred
10+ years of demonstrated experience in an enterprise web environment.
Must have demonstrated expert level experience with .NET programming and Windows SharePoint Services.
Experience must be strong with .NET, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Web Services, and SharePoint.
Communicate with a wide variety of technical and business experts in both individual and group settings.
Architect and implement SharePoint solutions from conception to implementation
Develop SharePoint-based applications from "user needs" in an Internet enabled application environment
Develop and support SharePoint features, webparts, dashboards, and master pages
Distinguish key interactions and connectives among enterprise Internet enabled applications solutions
Create and troubleshoot SharePoint sites and permissions issues
Perform design, development and testing tasks using C# and Web Services.
Skill Requirements:
Experience developing for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010
Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) standard interfaces and WSS Web Part Framework
Current releases of C#, ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and MS SQL Server
Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS
Working knowledge of Web Services
Desired Skills:
Experience with SharePoint custom workflows
Experience with data exchanges in a SQL environment.
Experience with reporting solutions
Experience with Microsoft Project Server
Familiarity with all phases of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with advanced SharePoint features including Excel Services, Workflow, Web Services, BDC/BCS, and Search
Additional Requirements:
Carry out assigned tasks with a professional demeanor reflected in excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills, patience, analytical reasoning and problem solving abilities
Ability to meet timelines, milestones, deliverables and provide timely (weekly) status updates
Communicate technical information verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical users
Provide a sustainable IT infrastructure by supplying cross training and functional documentation
Provide on-call and backup support for existing systems and functions. Location for on-call and backup support may be at client facilities or off-site. Required to carry a supplied cell phone/pager and work non-core hours when requested.
Understand and follow established processes and procedures including Change Management, Work Tracking and Time Management.
