US IT HOTLIST SAS Administrator/Developer (Phone Hire)

Position: SAS Administrator/Developer
Location: McLean, VA
Duration: 6 Months
Phone Hire

Responsibilities:
Statement:
Work as a Admin/Developer for SAS EBI 9.2 on Solaris 10. Main responsibility would include:
Convert SAS application code from SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.2.
Convert the corresponding shell and java code to invoke the sas code.
Rewrite the Autosys jobs to invoke the SAS applications.
Setup Users, groups and databases connections using SAS Metadata.
Install and configure Enterprise Guide, SAS/Base, SAS/Connect,SAS/Graph and SAS/EBI.
Troubleshoot and make recommendations to the existing code changes.
Perform customization to and develop interfaces if required.
Coordinate with Change Management to version control the artifacts using Change management tools (Clearcase, Clear Quest and Remedy).
Maintain the production/ DEV / UAT and testing environment
Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for SAS.
Coordinate the Prod/Non-Prod infrastructure deployments.
Support the third tier support call.
Completes/Follows/Maintain the segregation of duties (SOD),
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and/or audit compliance.

Skill level: Mid-level (3-7 yrs)

Skills:
3+ years with SAS 9.1.3/9.2
2+ years working with Apache/Tomcat or J2EE technology.
2+ years working with UNIX.
1+ experience with SAS EBI.
1+ experience with AutoSys.
Application Development background
Strong System administration skills (Unix/Windows).
Strong Scripting experience (Batch/Perl/Shell)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
