SR. PROGRAMMER ANALYST

LOCATION: Sicklerville, NJ

DURATION: 6 Months+ contract

 

DESCRIPTION:

 

A large biomedical company is seeking a qualified senior software developer/programmer to assist in custom development projects on Oracle ApEx platform 4.x. This right candidate will work under the direction of our software Development manager on independent development tasks.

 

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

 

- 2+ years of Database Design and Development

- 2+years of experience with Oracle Application Express (ApEx) design, development and deployment

- SQL and PL/SQL experience, including but not limited to designing and creating tables, packages, stored procedures, views, triggers, indexes and all relevant database objects, as well as report objects and output

- Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- End-to-end application development process, including analysis, design, development, testing, debugs, deployment, documentation and maintenance

- 2+ years of Web application development technologies, including but not limited to HTML/XHTML, XML, Java, AJAX, and SOAP web services

- 2+ years of with Java, JavaScript, and Object Oriented Programming a Proficiency with Oracle database operations, design and tuning

- ApEx deployment platforms, including Oracle Application Server, Web Logic, ApEx Listener, and Apache HTTP

- 2+ years of experience with Relational database design to support business requirements

- Ability to interact with business users to discuss and document business requirements and translate those requirements into a working application - Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
