Skills Required and Job Description:

SKYPE INTERVIEW Responsibilities: Perform data analysis by mining information from various data sources and transforming that data into meaningful, actionable information. Search for meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships by sifting through large amounts of data. Create statistical and predictive models to reduce risk and enhance the effectiveness of existing business rules Developing forecasting models using historical data and externalities to improve operations. Develop presentations and reporting to communicate key messages to senior management Proactively identify areas of opportunity through rigorous analysis of key performance metrics/indicators for each unit of Operations Required Skills: Ability to travel up to 25% for client engagements Minimum 7 years’ experience using data mining / analytical methods to improve business performance Detailed technical knowledge of and hands-on experience with various statistical, forecasting and predictive modeling methods (ANOVA, regression, time series analysis, decision trees) Strong SQL and SAS programming skills Advanced skills in MS Excel Strong listening, presentation, communication and influencing skills Experience supporting key management decisions with clear and concise data analysis Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as team player, create strong partnerships, and make calculated decisions independently Demonstrated project and time management skills Master’s degree in business or analytical type discipline. Base/Advanced SAS Programming Certifications Business intelligence software including one or more of the following: BRIO Intelligence, MS SQL Server and/or Business Objects Experience using SAS Enterprise Miner preferred
