SAS Programmer
Jacksonville FL
-Ad-hoc reporting – this should be recent experience and their niche
-Healthcare insurance/claims – they must have this experience
-This team produces 200+ reports a month. The candidates must be comfortable with this type of fast paced environment.
Focus on the reporting/data mining aspect of this role versus development
- Work both independently and within team to produce desired reporting and analysis
- Produce SAS reports derived from EDW data sources
- Process and compile reporting data for operational use
- Create reports and analysis for business review and input
Required skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert using BASE SAS/SAS-EG/PC-SAS v9.2 (8.2 Unix) or above
- 5+ Years' experience producing operational reports using SAS tools
- Experience producing reports from enterprise data stores - Experience presenting reports to non-technical audience
- Onsite work only, Jacksonville FL
- Prior Florida Blue experience preferred
- Proven success in working with Health Care Claims Data and reports
- Proven success in working with ICD-9 coding and reports
