Urgent Requirement for ORACLE DBA...!!

Title: ORACLE DBA

Location: Lutherville Timonium, MD

Duration: 3+ months

Require operational Oracle RAC DBA with experience supporting transaction systems, demonstrated familiarity with enterprise procedures / workflow processes and procedure-oriented work style who excels at documentation (knowledge base, run books, topology diagrams). Duties Implement approved workflow requests - database creation, table maintenance, user and role maintenance, upgrade from 10g to 11g Process change management workflow - submit requests, coordinate with SysAdmins, execute change, update documentation, close out request tickets Perform data protection tasks - backup and recovery Determine patching requirements and apply patches Install and deploy OEM agent for database and OS monitoring Scripting of monitoring jobs, periodic sync jobs, RMAN extracts for data protection, partitioning Storage audits and utilization reporting - ASM config and LUN reconciliation, automate storage growth trend monitoring in Traverse using SQL Perform security hardening (unneeded components, unneeded roles, patch levels) Create templates for database creation Create documentation inventory, parameters, licensing, backup/recovery/DR procedures, server OS and network configurations, diagramming in Visio HA audits - Grid Infrastructure, RAC, DataGuard, control files, redo logs, duplexing, SAN and NFS DR audits - standby, GoldenGate Backup audits - RMAN scripts, NetBackup Other duties as assigned Skills that are a plus Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc. Strong knowledge of how indexes, index management, how statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively, integrity checks, configuration, patching Expert experience in implementing operational automation Delphix experience
